My Approach
My practice combines the precision of modern psychiatry with comprehensive whole-person care, recognizing that mental health is deeply connected to physical, emotional, and environmental well-being. Through this integrative approach, I carefully blend evidence-based psychiatric treatments with holistic wellness strategies to address the root causes of mental health challenges.
As an integrative psychiatrist, I believe in the thoughtful use of medication when appropriate, while also exploring how factors like nutrition, sleep, movement, stress management, and lifestyle choices impact your mental health. This comprehensive strategy allows us to create personalized treatment plans that may include:
Traditional psychiatric medication when beneficial
Evaluation of biological factors
Nutrition and exercise
Sleep optimization strategies
Stress reduction techniques and mindfulness practices
Lifestyle modifications that support mental wellness
By addressing both immediate symptoms and underlying factors, we work together to achieve lasting emotional well-being and help you feel your best. This balanced approach helps minimize the need for medication when possible while maximizing your body's natural capacity for healing and resilience.
